Refund policy

This Refund Policy applies to all KANPAI Bar Hopping services, including monthly subscriptions, one-time event passes, and any promotional or partner-based offers.
By purchasing or participating in a KANPAI event, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. General Policy Overview
KANPAI operates curated nightlife experiences that require advance planning, venue coordination, staffing, and capacity management. For this reason, all sales are generally non-refundable, except in limited circumstances described below.
Refund eligibility depends on the type of purchase, timing of the request, and the reason for cancellation.
2. Monthly Subscription Refunds
No Refunds for Used or Active Periods
Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable once the billing cycle has started.
No refunds will be issued for:
- Missed events
- Partial attendance
- Changes in personal schedule
- Failure to attend weekly tours
Cancellation for Future Billing
Subscribers may cancel their membership at any time.
Cancellation will stop future billing cycles, but the current billing period will remain active until its end.
No prorated refunds are provided for unused time.
3. One-Time Event Pass Refunds
Non-Refundable by Default
One-time passes are non-refundable once purchased.
Limited Exception
A refund may be considered only if:
The request is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled event start time, and
Capacity has not been fully allocated
Approval of such refunds is at KANPAI’s sole discretion.
4. Event Cancellation or Changes by KANPAI
Full Refund or Credit
If KANPAI cancels an event due to operational reasons, including but not limited to:
Venue cancellation
Safety concerns
Severe weather
Government restrictions
Participants will receive one of the following, at KANPAI’s discretion:
A full refund, or
Credit toward a future KANPAI event or subscription period
Schedule or Route Changes
Changes to bar routes, venues, times, or after-parties do not qualify for refunds.
Events may be adjusted to ensure safety, quality, or venue availability.
5. Denied Entry or Removal During Events
No refunds will be issued if a participant:
Is denied entry by a venue due to age, dress code, intoxication level, or behavior
Violates venue rules or local laws
Is removed from an event for disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior
KANPAI reserves the right to remove participants without refund to protect guests, partners, and staff.
6. Late Arrival, No-Shows, and Early Departure
Late arrival to meeting points or venues does not qualify for a refund
No-shows are non-refundable
Leaving an event early for personal reasons does not qualify for a refund
7. Partner Benefits & Promotions
Complimentary drinks, discounted entry, party invitations, or partner perks are not guaranteed and may vary by event.
Failure to receive a specific benefit does not qualify for a refund.
Promotional pricing, referral rewards, or partner discounts are non-refundable.
8. Force Majeure
KANPAI is not responsible for cancellations or disruptions caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Natural disasters
Public transportation disruptions
Government actions or restrictions
Power outages or infrastructure failures
In such cases, refunds are not guaranteed, but credit may be offered when possible.
9. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Unauthorized chargebacks without prior communication may result in account suspension.
Repeated abuse of refunds or disputes may lead to permanent removal from KANPAI services.
